The practice feature of "AiDEPT for Abacus" (the "App") can be used without signing
in. If you have signed in, you can delete your account and associated data using
either of the two methods below.
Method 1: Delete from within the app
While signed in to the App:
Open the "Account" screen from the icon in the top right of the app (a parental gate confirmation is shown)
Tap "Delete account"
Follow the on-screen confirmation to complete the deletion
Method 2: Request deletion by email
If you have already uninstalled the app or cannot sign in, please contact us at the
address below with the email address associated with your Google or Apple account. We
will verify your identity and process the request as it is received.
Your account (the Firebase Auth account itself, and its link to the Google or Apple account used to sign in)
Your child's age mode (deleted together with your account, since it is stored with your account while you are signed in)
The on-device record of your last-used sign-in method
If you signed in with Apple, revocation of the Sign in with Apple token
Your account ID (user ID) and purchase history held by RevenueCat. As part of the account-deletion operation, we request RevenueCat to delete these on your behalf (you do not need to contact us separately). In the rare case this request fails, the deletion-complete screen will let you know, and you can contact us at the address below
What remains after deletion
The following information remains even after you delete your account. The retention
period for each item is as follows.
The daily free-use record (a device identifier and that day's usage count). In addition to your device, we also store the same record on our servers (database) (this is never linked to your name, email address, or other personal information). This is a device-level technical safeguard intended to prevent abuse of the free-tier quota (for example, deleting and recreating an account to reset the free quota). We do not set a retention limit for this record (it is overwritten the next time the same device is used).
The anonymous user ID itself, automatically issued without any action on your part solely to obtain permission to write the record above to our servers. Nothing is stored under this anonymous ID, and it is never linked to your name, email address, or other personal information. It is automatically deleted about 30 days after it is issued (a new one is then issued automatically; this does not affect the free-use record above, since that record is tracked by your device identifier, not the anonymous ID, and carries over when the ID is reissued).
If you use the App without signing in
Even if you use the App without signing in, the daily free-use record is still stored
on our servers as described in "What remains after deletion" above. Your child's age
mode is stored only on your device, so uninstalling the App removes it.
Processing time
Deletion from within the app is processed immediately. Requests made by email are verified and
processed as they are received.
